願いは、総量が増えても構造を変えない
平和を願う人が倍になっても、資源の配分は変わらない。願いは個人の内側で完結してしまい、外の仕組みに接続する経路を持たないからだ。
悪いことではないが、そこで止まると何も動かないというだけの話だ。
願いが多いのに現実が変わらないという状態は、心の問題ではなく、経路の問題として見たほうがいい。
平和を、道徳から構造の話に戻す
戦争や搾取や分断は、道徳の失敗である前に、資源と情報の配分の結果として起きている。誰にどれだけ流れ、誰には流れないか。その配分を決めているのは、資本を動かす側の判断だ。
つまり平和は、祈りの対象ではなく、設計の対象になる。設計の対象になった瞬間に、扱える人が変わる。聖人ではなく、資本の行き先を決められる人による実務になる。
願う人を、否定するわけではない
願いは実装の入口であり、そこがなければ基準も生まれない。ただ、入口で止まる人が多すぎる。願いを持つ人のうち何人が、判断の中にそれを組み込めるか。行動変容に繋げられるか。視座の拡張に踏み切れるか。その狭すぎる入り口の先に、踏み出せる道があることにまずは意識を向けることから始めたい。
増やしたいのは、平和を語る人の数ではない。次の一つの判断に、平和を組み込める人の数だ。
世界平和を、遠い目標にしているのは自分自身だ。
その当事者が、そして実践者が、一人でも増え続ける社会をけん引するのが、日本という国の一つの大きな姿なのだと思っている。
