Create an app that only you use every day
In the days when searching was an alternative and a handy tool for when you were stuck, that was all updated in an instant; now AI makes it easy to build apps. It’s not an app for selling; it’s not even meant to be placed in stores. Basically, it’s just for me, my friends, and my family.
So far, I think everyone has been using apps to some extent. I think there should be a better UI like this, or this should work in this way. However, I couldn’t find anything like that that reflected individual preferences anywhere.
Then you should just make it yourself. The time has come when it can be done normally.
Don't look for abilities that can't be defeated by AI.
AI is spreading at an incredible speed. Even those who work in AI-related companies say they can no longer keep up.
When that happens, what has been defined as human ability will gradually become commoditized; it will no longer be valued.
Many people here try to develop the ability to surpass AI. But is it really possible?
The island’s area will continue to shrink at an accelerating rate, but the more AI becomes widespread, the more it will remain on the side that benefits from it. Instead of seeking what cannot be taken away, it turns toward the side that works better the more it spreads. The direction is completely reversed.
Carving Buddha statues and playing football
One reason the village chief is carving Buddha statues is precisely for that reason. Starting the football project is also right there.
The two seemingly unrelated things are derived from the same underlying premise: the human part and the AI part. They are not one or the other, but rather integrated into both. I think that will become the most important thing from now on.
"Consulting with AI" is outdated now.
The ability to use AI is becoming commonplace. In today's world, it's approaching the level of being able to use a mobile phone. However, the stage of consulting with AI is completely outdated. How to use it effectively is what ultimately manifests itself in the real world as a difference between humans.
The reason I couldn't do it alone was simply that the environment wasn't conducive.
I'm learning to handle prompts in AI courses. That kind of thing is long over.
The question that should be asked now is different. Things that could not be done by one person—many of which are due to the lack of colleagues or the inadequacy of one’s own abilities—did not happen at the right time.
However, once AI at this level of sophistication becomes available, the landscape will change.
I research alone. I start businesses alone. I make movies alone. I build applications alone. In the past, I needed a team to do any of these things. Now, I don't need one.
The era when individuals can become the most powerful
There is of course a direction in which large companies will become overwhelmingly stronger by having AI.
But on the other hand, this is also an era where individuals can become the most powerful ever.
Not used as a tool, but integrated into one's own skeleton. Depending on whether you go that way or not, the position several years later will be completely different.
First, let’s start with small changes that are easy to understand like an app and the pursuit of convenience. Then, as we scale up, we can expand to projects and companies. It would be interesting to realize that we have never been able to do something before and become aware of how we can use our own abilities to create something we can do ourselves. This will be a major turning point.
"Will" — Ongoing events through December
From what we can see now, to future plans, and to the core of decisions that we usually don’t talk about.
Everything that can be spit out will be spit out. The first and final episodes will be held in real life.
