To those who can't take action: You might not be "unable to move," but simply "don't need to do it."
Don't be fooled by "Take action now"
The problem of "not being able to take action" is invariably met with two contradictory pieces of advice. There is the voice that says, "You won't know until you try, so move first," and the voice that says, "Formulate a solid strategy and consider the risks before moving." However, both of these are right, and at the same time, both are wrong depending on the person. The important thing is not to search for which one is correct, but to assess which state you are in right now.
Not being able to move might just be your brain protecting you.
If something is truly what a person is meant to do on a soul level, it should be hard for the situation of not being able to take action to arise in the first place. Conversely, much of what we are currently unable to act upon may be non-essential desires—mere impulses to "want to do something" influenced by others. The human brain is instinctively wired to keep us from stepping too far outside our comfort zone. This is a mechanism designed to protect us from danger. You may not have been "unable to act"; you may simply have been "held back." And that is not a bad thing.
Success and failure can be rewritten later
Many people try to judge success and failure solely by the results of the moment. However, the experience of running a company into the ground can become the foundation for later success, just as making 100 million yen can lead to subsequent bankruptcy. Viewed on a long timescale, the most difficult experiences are later rewritten into beautiful memories of "thanks to that, I am where I am today." If that is the case, what should truly be feared is not failure, but the fact of having made no attempt. Even if the probability of success is one in ten, you might never reach that tenth time without going through nine failures.
Thinking you are resting your brain on social media turns out to be the entrance to hell
When tired from daily thinking, people tend to open social media to cool down. However, that is not rest, but the gateway to addiction. If you really want to lighten your brain's load, it is better to cut off all information and just make time to sit. If that is difficult, simply writing down whatever is on your mind in a large notebook will suffice. Meeting people of a type you don't usually encounter, picking up a book from a genre you don't normally read—each of these things builds the level of abstraction needed to view matters from a higher perspective.
Being unable to move is not a flaw. It is a sign that the essential timing is not yet right, or simply a state where a sense of reality is still lacking.
That is precisely why the question we should be asking is not, "Why can't I take action?" but rather, "What kind of life am I choosing to create, including the choice not to act right now?"—That is the true question we must ask ourselves when confronting our inability to move forward.
