[Now accepting applications for the 3rd cohort] There's a function within you that hasn't been activated yet: Latent Function Theory Part 1

It's just a matter of whether your characteristics align with the angle of light cast by the environment.

I don't have any talent.

Many people have probably thought that.

Look around and you'll see skillful people, good conversationalists, wealthy people, those strong with numbers, and those who can act on instinct. I don't have any of those. Therefore, I'm ordinary—that's the conclusion I reach, and I quietly give up.

Pretending to give up, but in the back of my mind, I think, "There must be something for me." I spend my days fumbling with that feeling.

But, just think about it for a moment.

Where do the standards come from that lead you to judge that someone lacks talent?

Often, it's merely a self-assessment of the "abilities incidentally sought after" in the environment up to that point. Academic achievement and sports in student days, eloquent speech in a sales company, logical thinking and technical skills in an engineering organization, and sensibility in the art world are all called "talent."

In other words, it's not about whether you have talent or not, but whether your characteristics happen to align with the angle of the light currently shining on you from your environment. That's all there is to it.

As the angle of light changes, so does the place it illuminates. When the light changes, the place and shape of shadows change too. It's common for the environment of yesterday to change so much that you become the main character tomorrow.

The concept of "function groups" stored within humans

Getting different outputs for the same input doesn't mean it's individuality; it means there's a difference in the underlying functions.

Internal function theory is a theory for dealing with this ambiguous concept of "talent" more precisely and more calmly.

Humans are born with multiple "functions" embedded within them. Artistry, logic, sociability, physical sensation, linguistic ability, intuition, abstract thinking—some of these are visible, while others are not even recognized by the individual themselves.

If there's an input, something will be output. That's a function.

When people are told something unpleasant, some get angry, some start analyzing, and others remain silent. The output differs for the same input. This can be called individuality, but it's a difference in the underlying function.

And importantly, out of the functions within you, only a small portion is "currently active."

There is a function that is sleeping and waiting to be activated.

It's not "superhuman strength under pressure"—it's just a function that was always there, finally activated by the pressure.

Functions that have never been used. Dormant functions. Functions that are expected to explode with operation once the environment changes.

They are quietly stored within you.

Have you ever, out of the blue, done something that surprised even yourself? Have you ever displayed composure or boldness that wouldn't normally surface when you were cornered? That's not "superhuman strength in an emergency." It's just a function that was always there, activated for the first time by pressure.

Self-analysis is the process of inventorying one's own functions.

Meeting a new version of yourself begins with accurately identifying and redesigning your functions.

Self-analysis is about taking stock of your own set of functions. What's running, what's dormant, and what combinations could produce unseen outputs.

"Searching for yourself" isn't just about going on a journey. It's about accurately identifying and redesigning the set of functions that already exist within you. This then leads to encountering a new self.

The total amount of functions within you is far greater than you think.

Corridor Phase 3 Free Online Information Session Held

The Corridor is a program designed to access the depths of consciousness and fundamentally transform your way of thinking. It aims to achieve multidimensional cognition and a new framework for judgment, not through acquiring knowledge, but through understanding "structure" itself.

Designed to be distinct from traditional self-help and seminars, previous participants have shown a continuous change in their perceptions.

To mark the start of the third term, we are holding a free online information session to explain the overall program and its underlying philosophy. Instructor Suguri will personally attend to share "Why is it necessary to change dimensions of perception now?"

This content is recommended for those who feel limited by self-help or want to broaden their thinking.
