Time as "common sense" and time as perceived
Physical time is constant. However, subjective time stretches and shrinks.
Clocks turn clockwise. After yesterday comes today. After today comes tomorrow.
Time flows in one direction, irreversibly. That's common sense.
But what about the feeling?
Time flies when you're having fun. Boring meetings seem to last forever. An hour with a lover and an hour on a crowded train should be the same hour, but they feel completely different.
Physical time is constant, but subjective time stretches and shrinks.
Release the habit of thinking bound by time.
The concept of "three years from now" doesn't exist in the information space—the future and the present are equidistant.
What if you could consciously control this "stretching and shrinking"?
The space of human thought unfolds with the fundamental premise of limitations in time and space. This is only natural, as we live in the physical dimension.
The problem, however, is that this "habit of thinking constrained by time" is carried over into areas where there should be no time constraints. When imagining, planning, or envisioning the future—even in the realm of thought that should be free, we unconsciously impose time limits.
"I want to be like this in three years." This is thought constrained by time. There is no concept of "three years later" in information space. In that space, the future and the present are equidistant.
Relativity Theory Teaches: High-Speed Thinking
To those who are highly engaged, it seems "just around the corner" - the perceived distance to the problem shrinks.
Increasing the plasticity of time means being able to treat time not as a "fixed container" but as a "flexible material."
There are interesting auxiliary lines. It's the theory of relativity.
The faster you move, the slower time feels. This isn't a metaphor, it's a law of physics. More external time is compressed into the same proper time.
The same principle can be applied to thinking. When you speed up your thinking, the "apparent distance" of a problem shrinks. What seems like a "distant goal" to someone who is stagnant appears "within reach" to someone who is thinking at a high speed.
Training the plasticity of time—the fundamental method of meditation
Stop, stretch, and compress time—this isn't delusion, it's mind training.
Time is also linked to aging. Aging is a phenomenon that follows the unidirectionality of time. Telomere shortening, oxidation, and pattern stiffening—all are based on the premise that "time flows linearly."
If we could experience time not as a line, but as something more flexible.
Play with the sense of increasing the plasticity of time. Try stopping time. Try stretching it. Try compressing it.
This is not delusion, but training of consciousness. And the most fundamental method of that training is meditation.

The difference between people who make money and those who don't isn't a difference in ability. It's not a difference in the amount of effort either. "You can't make money if you don't have money" - this...
