Why do "people with great character" accept many "contradictions"—the ability to tolerate contradiction

What is "Kishoku" - Deconstructing an Ambiguous Word

The essential nature of a person's character that cannot be explained by simply being "kind" or "not angry."

That person has a big heart.

It's a phrase you hear often, but if you're asked what exactly a "vessel" is, it suddenly becomes vague.

Being kind? Not getting angry? Accepting everything?

That element is certainly there, but none of them are the same. At least, the essence isn't there.

The size of a vessel is the amount and strength of contradictions it can hold.

People live in contradiction every day.

The moment you can't decide which way to go is precisely where your character is tested.

People live in contradiction every day.

I want to live freely, but I also want stability. I want to take on challenges, but I'm scared. I want to prioritize myself, but I also want to help others. Short-term gains and long-term vision. Personal desires and societal roles.

These are all contradictions, and how one handles these contradictions determines their capacity.

There are moments in daily life when I'm unsure which path to take. These are the moments when I face contradictions. It can be said that those who experience this frequently are actually in an environment that builds their capacity.

The three stages of vessels: discard, wear out, transform.

Your approach to contradictions reveals the depth of your character.

When a person has a small mind, they immediately dismiss contradictions. Black or white. Right or wrong. They present it as a choice between two options and eliminate one. It makes things easier. But with it, they also eliminate the possibilities that lay with the discarded option.

If your capacity is medium, you can hold both. However, holding them for too long will wear you down. The contradictions continue to create friction within, eventually leading to exhaustion. Many people are in this state when they say, "I'm tired from thinking too hard."

People with broad minds use contradictions as raw material. They embrace two opposing things simultaneously, creating a new third path from them. Contradictions become a catalyst for emergence, not destruction.

The Four Coordinates of Tolerance for Contradiction - Measuring Vessels as Structures

Understanding structure, not talent, changes the depth of thought.

"The size of one's capacity" is not a matter of sensibility; it can be broken down structurally.

Breadth—the ability to handle multiple contradictions simultaneously.

Strength—how much great contradiction can you withstand.

Duration—how long can one sustain a contradiction?

Transformative power – can contradictions be turned into new paths instead of dead ends?

When measured by these four coordinate axes, your capacity becomes apparent.

And how you mend the rifts of contradiction—that technique will determine the depth of your being.

The difference between people who freeze up when faced with contradiction and those whose thinking accelerates lies not in talent, but in their understanding of structure.

Corridor Phase 3 Free Online Information Session Held

The Corridor is a program designed to access the depths of consciousness and fundamentally transform your way of thinking. It aims to achieve multidimensional cognition and a new framework for judgment, not through acquiring knowledge, but through understanding "structure" itself.

Designed to be distinct from traditional self-help and seminars, previous participants have shown a continuous change in their perceptions.

To mark the start of the third term, we are holding a free online information session to explain the overall program and its underlying philosophy. Instructor Suguri will personally attend to share "Why is it necessary to change dimensions of perception now?"

This content is recommended for those who feel limited by self-help or want to broaden their thinking.
